The start of this summer’s adventure brought me to the East Coast of America and New York followed by a trip over to France. Preparations were then made for the beginning of the Camino de Santiago de Compostela beginning in the town of St Jean Pied de Port in southern France. It would then take 32 days to hike close to 800 kilometers along the Camino Frances route to Santiago de Compostela in northwestern Spain.
